Adebola Esan
Director
Adebola Esan is dedicated to promoting African culture, community engagement, and cultural exchange in Calgary. She is passionate about preserving and showcasing African heritage through community events and cultural initiatives that celebrate diversity and unity. Adebola holds a master’s degree in English Education and brings her leadership, creativity, and organizational skills to advancing CCCA’s mission. She is married with four children.

Olufemi Lawal
Director
Oluwafemi Lawal is an Information Security Professional based in Calgary, dedicated to leveraging digital innovation to promote African culture, values, and sustainable community development. With extensive experience in Information Technology and leadership, he combines technical expertise with a deep passion for cultural preservation to drive meaningful social impact.

Ete Ometoruwa
Director
Ete Ometoruwa is an IT professional based in Calgary, Alberta. Passionate about community and the African Diaspora, Ete believes in the power of connection through culture, and celebrating the strength in cultural diversity.

Ibidun Lawal
Director
Ibidun Lawal is a calgary based Registered nurse championing African cultures and values. She believes in the strength of community, grounded in African values of unity, respect, and togetherness, and is committed to uplifting and connecting people through cultural pride and shared identity.

Mary Dande
Director
Mary Dande is a passionate cultural advocate dedicated to promoting and preserving African heritage in Canada’s diverse society. Through her work with an organization that celebrates African culture, she helps create programs and events that highlight the continent’s rich traditions and artistic expression. Mandy is committed to fostering intercultural understanding and empowering communities through cultural connection and education.
